Today we visited an A-M-A-Z-I-N-G indoor science play area in Henderson, called Children’s Science Play Room. It has free tea and coffee facilities for caregivers and a sit down eating area at the back (no food/drink to be eaten in the play areas). My little mint didn’t want to leave even though it was past her nap time.
There’s a main area (for all ages) and an under 5’s area. The under 5’s area has a no-shoes policy for everyone, to avoid leaving mud for babies to crawl through and toddlers to eat!
In the all ages area, they had experiments at 11am and 12pm. My little mint was ecstatic making bubbles when she mixed the white vinegar with bicarbonate of soda. There was so much to do. If you get the chance to visit, we definitely recommend it.
The Henderson train station is very close by and there’s some street parking available off Stevie’s Lane and behind the building.
